I've been tagged by Ina RULES - Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. In the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs 1. I am a chemistry nerd and I love to tell long boring stories to people about how things work because of chemistry....this was recently brought to my attention but I still do it anyway because it is what I do........ 2. I have been to burningman four times, 98, 99, 01, 02. Some how I feel like it has been more than just four. In '98 there was some sort of erie serendipity that just kept me returning.......to all my buds sorry I missed the '00 but I was stranded in Seattle. Unless I go this year I suppose I am a virgin again four on, four off. I was once a space cowboy camper, then an IK camper, and now a cafe crew camper........ 3. I have a cat named Ahsti, it is hebrew or somthing....she has a exploding butt problem...aka the little Shart! 4. I would really like to parachute into BRC sometime soon. 5. I am currently sleeping with one of the burning man coffee roasters from last year, she is hot! 6. I have an unknown (now it is current knowledge)penchant for collecting skipping rocks. 7. My favorite color is blue, I like chewing gum and hammocks, and I like to stop and stare at bicycles because I think they are beautiful machienes and I wish that I had many of them. I can't spell despite my 6 years of college. 8. I want to learn: how to weld, how to work on cars, how to circular (sp?) breathe beacause it would be really helpful for some of my pastimes (lips are never chapped ladies!), how to make wine and lots of other things too but I can't think of them now beause I have to pee. I tag Erin, Loose, Anna, Nicole, Eghan, KamiKaze Kelly
Today is primary election day and it is more important than ever for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Californians to vote in record numbers.

Here is why: Many key races, including the gubernatorial contest between EQCA PAC endorsed Steve Westly and his opponent Phil Angelides, will likely be extremely close. In the past two elections, key legislative races were decided by hundreds of votes. EQCA members can make the difference in many of these races. Here is a list of EQCA PAC endorsed candidates: Governor: Steve Westly Seretary of State: Debra Bowen Controller: Joe Dunn Treasurer: Bill Lockyer Attorney General: Rocky Delgadillo Insurance Commissioner: Cruz M. Bustamante Member, State Board of Equalization: Betty T. Yee State Senator: Pat Wiggins State Assembly: Patty Berg In a significant break from tradition, Governor Schwarzenegger, who does not take positions on legislation that has not passed the legislature, has promised to veto the anti-bias curriculum bill before it has even had its first hearing in the Assembly. The LGBT community can send him a powerful message by turning out to vote and electing fair-minded candidates throughout California. President Bush has announced his renewed support to write discrimination into the U.S. Constitution by amending it to prohibit marriage between same-sex couples. President Bush and his political advisors are once again attacking the LGBT community to turn out the right wing vote—and they have a key congressional race tomorrow in California. Don’t let Arnold Schwarzenegger and George Bush get away with using the LGBT community for their selfish political need to shore up their conservative base and turn out far-right voters. Send them both a message that the LGBT community is a political force to be reckoned with by voting in record numbers tomorrow. Today’s primary and November’s general election will decide if we have a legislature to pass the marriage bill and if we will we have a governor who will sign it. We have so much at stake here in California - now more than ever, let your voice be heard! Sincerely, eqca and me
I love you all, don't get me wrong, but who in the hell got all the yahoos on tribe? I swear that somewhere someone must agree with me that if you think that a tin foil hat will protect you from nuclear fallout (or I quote "infrared radiation") you best not speak of the topic until you pull your head out of your ass and at least wikpedia it.

So what is the deal with all the anxiety about a first burn? Perhaps it is me being inconsiderate because I call BM home. Is it more to do with lack of social infastructure to really put those virgins in safe space.......suppose there is a virginville, were all the petite beagel types and the water trucking, non-tent securing, non-waterbottle over rebar end sticking, spectator types could camp and learn with daily lessons about how the schedule the greeters give you is all wrong. And, yep you guessed it, nope, Cher wont be singing after the burn at the Emeral City.......we could make big virginal sterile condoms with which each virgin could hide within during a dust storm......blah blah......

Hummm, just like business owners. The new ones always want to change it around so that it is their creatation. This is just @uked!
