A quick version of something I'm working on...

This is just a quick sketch of an image whose perspective I'm trying to sort out. I plan to do a larger version, and have only uploaded this to ask for suggestions from others, as the way I'm doing it seems to be wrong.

Ok, well... Im trying to see how Imma describe this... The street and roof tops should be flatter... The way I see it, the buildings should be going at a specific 1 point perspective, but its hard to map that out seeing as the vanishing point is nowhere near the area they are in. Its not two point an I dunno about three point (never learned that one XD) but thats what I see.

The building with the water tower looks like its curving up to meet the height of the preceeding building. I think you need to make the building lines parallel. However, I think that the bigger building should be made parallel to the smaller one with the tower, because the tower building is correctly parallel to the water front street.

And how tall are these buildings in comparason to the building hes on? Im not sure if he really should be able to see the street behind them... but if thats your syle then go straight ahead. Also, Im not so sure about the tower... it loks a little out of viewpoint. I think we should be able to at least see the top of the tower from where we are. Not necessarily from what he can see. If you want I can try to draw it out for you?

But I kind of like the action in the scene though. What is the person trying to say or to do? Is he directing someone to the bridge?

Great pic. The issue here is that from this perspective you are dealing with at least 3 vanishing points -- one on each "horizon" – and one that would be somewhere subterranean (from your bird’s eye view). The most obvious flaw in your perspective is the building top in the center (the one with the water tower) the side of the building that runs parallel with the top of the image should be shorter – to accommodate for the shrinking of scale as it moves toward the vanishing point on the left horizon. I think if you corrected that wall and adjusted the one that runs perpendicular to it – the other angles in the drawing look about right. . .
