I have been a big tribe slacker for the longest time.
Today I realized I am trying to join the human race. As in get over my Frenchy past.Don't be confrontational, don't look at people even if you just are looking with zero intentions, don't speak too soon, ect. I think I was plagued by my time in France. It opened my agressive chakras.
Other than that I have been working, studying and working out and hanging with daughter. My life is getting simpler in a way. :)
Hi old tribe friends!

Ok. So it has been quite a while since Mary tagged me...1) I drink coffee almost daily. I started after I became a mother and now I am most likely addicted. My dream man would make me a cup and bring it to my bed every morning. :)
2) I am not sure if I believe in god or not. We never see this god, and church values at the core usually are too dogmatic for me. Many of my mom friends are religious but casually so.
3) I had a feeling before I got married that it may be a bad move. I was right. Lesson learned is trust your instints, umm I mean I hope I learned it.
4) I wrote a children's book that my mother did the art for. I am not sure we will ever publish it since I am in school, but not that many people know that.
5) I love it when my feet are worshipped. Toes sucked, licked, ect... Rubbed. Give it to me baby!
6) I think in some ways that SF sucks. Its too expensive, too fakey in a way and sometimes I have this feeling of everyone going around going lah lah lah... as though there is nothing real or solid, but in fact there is. As a mom sometimes I wish I lived in a less expensive area!
7) Once I was in jail for some hours. Yeah, it sucked.
8) I once threw my ex-husband's lap top out of a window during a fight after he broke our tv, wrecked our car, cheated, lied and generally was acting like an ass. Yeah.. You dont want to make me too mad. I have a temper, but its not all that often activated. Yet, If you push me far enough, I explode. The explosions are usually short lived and drastic.
9) When travelling through Europe, I wanted to extend my trip. I needed a job. So I lived outdoors for 4 nights. It was cold... Burrrrrrr...
10) Once while living in France. I was seduced by a guy from a famous boys band. 2B3- I was flattered, but not interested. But it was cool, because me and my gf's and I got to go to amazing nightclubs and be there privately.
11) When my daughter was born, I didn't cry or scream and I had no drugs. It was intensely painful.

Back from Humbolt
The trees were so pretty. Ferns, foliage, big old redwoods, creeks, water flowing, earth, ocean, shades of greys. Rocks, dust, trails and good people. What more could we have asked for this week-end? Nick takes great photos. Studying in the car was good, the rest was much needed. SF tonight gleamed in my eyes from the car. Leaving a stain on my memory of beauty and a feeling of peace.
Coffee in the morning. I am already happy at the idea of them visiting us in SF.
Hans climbed up a big tree. Nick and Kris took lovely pictures. Hans found a slug. The girls had the upper hand in cribbage.
Just about to grab coffee and
chill out.School started yesterday! It was actually really a good feeling to finally get into it. I can tell there is a going to be a lot to learn. A whole new language. I am xcited and looking forward to some the challenges that lie ahead.
I bought the book "Down and Out and Paris and London" as well, by George Orwell. I started to read that a long time ago and never got through it. My last two books were by GG Marquez. Who is a fabulous author.
Beauty lies all around me.
Faces shaded in grey and light
tones. Eagle's plight. The color
of brick and sky blue.
I wanted to see Barney play last night
and June sing. But I couldn't.
Been staying busy and busy is good.
I like to be active and reach and move.

Slanted Screen at the Roxie
I went out with a group of decent folk to see this film. It was not bad. Especially when you think about the fact that it was written, directed and produced by an attorney! None other than our own Jeff Adachi, in SF.See if you are interested in learning about Asian integration of males into Hollywood and society overall.
Not bad - www.slantedscreen.com/
I also got to practice tons of French all week-end. I love it when that happens. Ate very delicate and yummy sushi at this sushi boat place on Church st. Yummmy.
Today I got all teary eyed over my ex husband. I went through these ollllldddd papers and letters. Tossing them in one way felt good. Like ohhh kkkk he is dead, it is over, and in this other way it brought up the pain... According to my mom and her psych professor it takes 5 whole yrs to get over a divorce. So that means i have 2 and a half more yrs. I suppose I am going to have to get used to it. It is over and even though I thought it would never end. I guess, it did. C'est la vie!
Yippee.. Going to Vancouver BC soon. Can't fuckin wait to get a change of scenary. Although I will admit that lately the scenary has been pretty nice and also hospitable to have a 6 yr. old in. AwwwhhhI am going to miss the cutie pie silly rascal!_______________________________________
Almost forgot. My friend Tada, who now lives in NY is in a film contest...

Well when I get back I have one more week of freedom until I start school. I am excited to do something new!
