Well the dark time has passed and I am still here. The pain is becoming an old comfortable friend, part and parcel of my life. It will now cast it's shadow on all I do and all I meet. As all pain does. Sadness lingers but the pain recedes. Love as always remains strong. Happy New Year to all my beloveds.

This time last year I don't even remember, I was drowning in pain and sorrow. I am still healing but life does go on. So many friends that have stayed near during this past dark year. Thank you all.

Okay... wasn't the drum I thought I was buying but I have decided I love it. Lots of fun, cool rythms and can play it sitting in a chair comfortably. What's not to love. I have learned two of the three basic strokes and can play a basic rythm. Works for me. Don't know when I'll feel confident enough to play with the tribe drummers, but I am loving it.
