Richard’s writing is genuinely unique in style, so very different from my own and others that at first I did not quite know how to take him. Still waters run deep; does one want to jump in and splash around? Would that be fun or perilous? “Both” is the answer, I have discovered. Great for conversation with authentic depth to it, pleasant to enjoy lunch together with, and a good fellow in general is Richard.
about me
If i said i knew it wouldn't be that true. I only know what I think I know and then that is in question. About me is about you, for the real answer. it takes the you to know the me and the me will move on and another some other you will then discover something new, something me that is also left from the part of you left with me. If that makes sense then, then, you know all about me.

Time Enough for Something

There are whispers I hear from my heart. I tremble at the thought of feeling too much. Yet, it is only a whisper, I say to myself. When I wondered as a boy from home and far away it was perhaps in vein, for I never captured the safety I sought. No...

When I wondered as a boy from home and far away it was perhaps in vein, for I never captured the safety I sought. Not in my heart. That was a voice of youth, of inexperience, of even perhaps hope. That was perhaps the very reason I left and also why I would return. While I would believe I remain much the same I know that not to be true. Time, like pages in a book ...

Oh, I thought to myself, rather I might have shouted but I was using my internal voice, I have a test I am supposed to be taking this week. Where did I put it? It is safe in my bag. This is no time to procrastinate, I think, again with the internal voices. The whirl of thoughts in my mind are screaming past my consciousness, taking no prisoners and sparing no connections to all other seemingly irrelevant memories. All of this as I gather some semblance of what should be a memory to recall wha...
