about me
hoping to design a course in memetics. currently teaching writing. prefer to remain somewhat anonymous just now. "waldopaper" is an internet handle.
information for now... exploring the wiki... and trying to figure a way out of here. I think "America" is a very nice land mass... and I don't "hate" the USA. It just seems that at least half the people who live in the USA really annoy the crap out of me... and it seems to be getting worse.
Since "911," people in the USA have gone batshit loony... about 80% right after the event... and now perhaps 60% (after 5 years) seem to have some kind of grip on "reality." That's not enough. In the last free German election (1933) before the Nazi time, the Nazis only had 37% of the vote. That was enough to support the nightmare that followed.
The same thing is happening now in the USA. Anybody who thinks "global terrorism" is more menacing than "global warming" is dummer than a goddam toast-point. That's not just my "opinion."
It's the fookin TRUTH.
