I've known Lisa all of her life (and even before that). She was so cute and funny as a child. She has always been very sensitive and shy. (and she still is all those things and more). Lisa has always had a strong sense of right and wrong and she is a very good person at heart. She is intelligent and creative and a true and loyal friend to those lucky enough to be close to her. She can also be very stubborn when she thinks (knows) she's right about something. And even though she sometimes has a gutter-mouth (I can't imagine where she got that), her spirit is pure and lovely.
I picked the name Lisa, because I liked the light and pretty sound of it, and there were 2 songs popular at the time I was pregnant that had the name Lisa in them. "Sad Lisa" by Cat Stevens (it's still one of my favorites) and "I'm Not Lisa" by Jessie Coulter. It didn't matter that the subjects weren't that happy or one of the songs basically sucked, but I just liked the sound of the name!

Leesuh used to hide cans of food in my house, and when I would find one, we would eat that. Our little games made poverty and desperation enjoyable. Now that I'm a mother of 1, I can share these games with my child, who will no doubt be psychologically damaged by default. Thank you, Aunty Leesuh, for the inspiration!
