RIDA
Rida began her dance instruction with ballet. She took classes for many years and also taught children, but her first love has always been belly dance. She started taking belly dance lessons with Elektra of Long Island, NY when she was just a teenager. The sensuous movements, the exotic music, and endless creativity has kept her inspired for over 20 years. Rida continues to expand her knowledge while sharing her techniques and talents with audiences and students in the Virginia Beach area. Rida was a writer for the “Beginners” column in Zaghareet! Magazine. ABOUT BELLY DANCE NAVEL ACADEMY Belly Dance Navel Academy offers instruction in area recreation centers as well as semi-private and private classes in Rida's home studio. We have been seen at many area festivals, but we can also be booked for your private events.
