I met James at the Latch hook rug convention also known as "Hookers Unite" in Tulsa, I being the wall flower that I am was sitting quietly in the corner working on a 'fuzzy bear eatting honey out of a pot while lying on his back in the grass with a butterfly flying overhead' motiff. When I heard a flurry of activity from the booth across they way. There were sighs and swoons and a bustle of polyester pantsuits obstructing my veiw. When I got up to see what the commotion was all about, thats when I saw him, sitting there in his red beret looking much the artiste....for never in all my years of hooking had I seen such perfection such form and grace , the subtle twist in the wrist as he latched and hooked , there was simpley a glow about him. I looked down to see what the image was that he was crafting before the crowd , and thats when I went a little weak in the knees.......it was the last supper but not just any old last supper all the disciples were represented as oscar myer weiners , you know the kind of hot dogs that children wish they were....and jesus was a fruit cake you know the type that gets passed around from family to family consecutive christmas seasons......I digress.....it was pure genious and we became fast friends from that point on.....I love that hooker :)
