I've developed a real interest in dance in recent years. I love the sinuous movements of bellydance and I love the music tribal dancer routinely dance to by folks like Pentaphobe, Maduro, Amon Tobin, ect.
I take flamenco lessons with Eva Lucena and doumbek/djembe lessons with the DDLC. Playing Djembe is so entrancing. Flamenco footwork is very energizing. The hip and abdominal movements of bellydance feels very liberating. (I've taken bellydance lessons too.) I also like West African dance and the zany Russian and Ukrainian folk styles of dance.
