My new cat's name is Bastien.

He's very special, along with the blue eye and the white coloring comes the fact that he's blind in the blue eye and almost completely deaf. He's incredibly sweet and very very playful. He's taken well to his new home but Lilith, my first cat, is not very happy and so she growls and hisses and bats at him all the time so far. It'll get better, it just takes time.

They say that age is no barrier to insight and this woman is indisputable proof of that. On more than a few occasions, I've found myself reexamining my beliefs and assumptions as a result of conversation with her. Where so many appear to be comfortable with the status quo, Adrienne is not afraid to embrace change and growth. She is a thoughtful human being, an unbelievably sexy dancer and a source of calm strength to those who regard her as a friend. I'm also told she also makes a damn fine pot of pumpkin soup.
Oh.. and yes.. let us not forget her absolutely gorgeous tattoos. ;-)
