Merry Meet! I am a Earth Mother....a Medicine Woman, herbalist, and Priestess. Shamanism is my dedication. I am of the A~ni~wa~ya(Wolf Clan) of the Cherokee People and I am part Irish (interesting mix I tell you! )I have combined my Cherokee & Druid ancestry and it was not as hard as one may believe for there is much common ground. I am an initiated Druid and practice solitary today. I descibe myself also to have a "Christ Consciousness".I am very fortunate to live on ancestral land and I live among my ancestor spirits...I am married to a wonderful man, I am a mother and grandmother and have 4 cats....Draco, Wolfie, Batman & Freddie, and have a lab/rott mix dog companion, Holly. Wolfie is the the wolf pup I wanted...honestly he is such a lil puppy...he never acts like a cat! Complete with chewing on my shoes! He was a wolf in his past life and has graced me with his friendship. Draco is a orange ball of fur and was a Cheetah in his past life...he is like a streak of lightning...Batman I rescued as a baby kitten and he is all black with green eyes and as a few onths old...rules the house! He has an ole soul and is my Samhain kitty!....Freddie is a good ole multi~colored girl...she is the hunter....and spends time outside. Unfortunately the road we live on has gotten busier due to housing development and a new super Walmart down the way. Luckily however I have known most of the neighbors all of my life and I have family living on both sides of me. The cats have perches all over the house where they watch squirrels, birds and rabbits, and Holly...well she is loving having the cats. My son is a huge "good ole boy"...true southern rebel, and has a daugher named Storm (not suprising at all)...she is my oldest granddaughter. My daughter is a corporate banker....but is an Empath with many native talents. She embraces her magickal/Cherokee side...as my son embarces his Native roots. My daughter has 2 girls also...wouldn't you know a daughter of Avalon (me) would have only granddaughters! I was initiated as an Avalonian Priestess and teach the Old Ways of both my heritages. I have combined them to be just ME...it works.
