Help spread the word!
Kan'Nal Fans,We are conducting a grass roots campaign to market our new CD, Myth Magic. That means no outside help, just us! It is a daunting task to get our music into the world, but we believe we can do it with your participation. The time has come to stand up and hoowwwl! This is a call to all of you, we need you! We wish to continue on this path and we want to grow with you. Are you ready to help us with our intention of musical creation? Yes! Here's what you can do:
- If you post a review of and/or order info for Myth Magic on your blog, and 5 of your friends do the same, you will earn free downloads (including unreleased tracks)!
- If 5 of your friends order the Myth Magic cd through our website (www.kannal.org) we will send you a free copy!
Just send us an email here on this 'friend' account (not our 'tribe) listing the five friends (and you) who blogged (include links please) and/or who bought a cd because of your awesome recommendation.
Contact us here on Tribe or at: kannal@kannal.org to find out more.
Many Thanks from all of us!

KAN’NAL LAUNCHES NEW ALBUM WITH A MAGICK MASQUERADEEarth Rockers releasing long-awaited third CD at Boulder Theater on Friday June 6
Boulder based Kan’Nal is coming out if hibernation to release their new album MYTH MAGIC. The summer tour starts at the Boulder Theater with a Masquerade Ball and includes special guests LionVibe, GSP and DJ Raja Ananda. The journey continues with concerts in California, Oregon, and Ohio, as well as another local concert at the Mishiwaka amphitheater near Fort Collins on June 20. Blending primal rhythms, swirling dancers and ancient instruments with alternative rock, Kan’Nal creates a musical, visual, and sensual experience. Their “Earth Rock” style, established on their Sony Red album, Dreamwalker, conveys raw power and signals a new evolution in modern music. Michael Deeds of the WASHINGTON POST writes, "Kan'Nal's concerts are spectacular: hypnotic percussion, guitar and buzzing didgeridoo create a spirit-channeling framework or Tzol's primal, sensual vocals… Kan'Nal's two mesmerizing female dancers gyrate as if possessed, eyes rolled back, sometimes holding deer antlers to their craniums.”
The new album, MYTH MAGIC has been in production for over two years. Recorded at Boulder’s Sonoma Super Audio studio, it ventures deeper into the desert wilderness of Kan’Nals inner landscape. The album is only being sold at concerts and through the band’s website: www.Kannal.org.
Concert Information: Friday June 6 at The Boulder Theater, doors: 8:30 pm, www.BoulderTheater.com
Message
Dearest friends, fans, and family,I know many of you have been wondering what is going on with Kan'Nal these days. I have heard many rumors about the band and seen many e-mails and chats go on about what is happening with us, and I must admit I've been quite entertained. I hope you don't find that offensive. What I have learned is that we definitely have a passionate fan base out there who really love and believe in Kan'Nal and our mission, and I want to thank you all for that. You are what it takes to make this band and the culture we represent a success. Now let the truth be known. Kan'Nal is alive and well! We stopped touring for a while to catch our breath and refocus our energy further into who we are and what we are doing on this planet. Sometimes you have to let the cup refill again if you know what I mean. In the meantime, we have been finishing and polishing our record as well as keeping our skills up with the various projects we all do together and apart. Speaking of the record, I hope you can all be patient with me by putting the release date further back. I just want it to be the best it can be for all of us. It is coming soon, I promise. And by the way, there is a good chance I will change the title 20 more times before I settle on one. For some reason that's just how I operate. But in the end, I am confident that it will be fantastic! For now, please enjoy this new track from the album to come and share it with all your friends.
I send love to you all.

We hope you are all enjoying the beauty of this season! While on a break from touring, we are busier than ever (see Tzol's message below). One of the projects we are really excited about is coming up in December - Kan'Nal will be performing in Atlanta, Georgia, at a private fund-raising event for the Captain Planet Foundation. The Captain Planet Foundation's mission is to fund and support innovative programs that empower children and youth around the world to work individually and collectively to solve environmental problems in their neighborhoods and communities.Bless you all for your continuous support!
In appreciation for all you do for Kan'Nal, we want you to be
the first to hear a song off our upcoming cd...enjoy!

Be aware of the contact between your feet and the Earth.
Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.
We have caused a lot of damage to the Earth.
Now it is time for us to take good care of her.
We bring our peace and calm to the surface of the Earth
And share the lesson of love.
We walk in that spirit
