about me
I am ½ Native American (Omaha) and ½ a bunch of stuff. I moved to Portland two years ago from the Rincon Reservation in California, and love it here! Recently engaged to the most wonderful man! I will be moving to Vancouver B.C. soon, I'm sure I will love it as much as Portland.
I have found the Radical Faeries since I moved to Oregon and think I have found a wonderful family in them here! They are the most loving and non-judgmental group, and way fun! Radical Faeries really know how to have fun, and are by and large some great cooks, can put on a gala event with literally nothing but a few beads and strips of cloth, and have tons of creativity.
A singer with Red Warrior, Kiowa drum for the last 16 years.
I’m a two-spirited, gay man, that loves nature, animals, hiking and camping, and shiny or colorful things(which I collect like a Magpie).
Very spiritual in nature, and fairly traditional in Native American ways, love a good sweat lodge and sitting around singing medicine songs with my friends is my idea of a good evening.
Kind of a geek, fun loving, easy going, love trying new things.
Read a lot. Activist for Civil Liberties, Gay rights, Voting Reform, the total reform of our government including the Senate and Congress, anti out-sourcing and against control of our government by large business, and I am for the reform of marijuana laws.
That’s about it.
Oh yeah…dogs, I love dogs…
Most religions believe in an after life of one kind or another, streets lined with gold, virgins waiting in line for your pleasures, or of more earthly places, teeming with life, fruit for the taking, and beauty all around. My spiritual beliefs much more tend towards the latter, when I visualize a hopeful next life, I think of natural beauty, peace, people loving one another, and a life full of dance and song. Further contemplation has made me wonder if a place like this really existed would ...

Ants
Ahhh, the joys of Brietenbush have been at least partially assimilated into my little brain.
Coming home from a gathering to a house where I live alone (so I thought), was a little strange and hollow, till I discovered the ants all over my desk, there are ants everywhere, in fact I just drank a couple that wandered into my coffee cup, sorry my little brothers for the un-intended loss of your relatives, though I must admit they are quite tasty and spice up the coffee nicely. I feel so w...

Just what are our responsibilities as a result of engaging in a war with another country, say for instance…Iraq?
By our own decrees declaring war on another country is only mandated by the need to protect ourselves from hostility from that country.
In my view we do not ever owe restitution to a country we are at war with because we are acting only in self defense, as this is the only just cause for a war. So why are we spending hundreds of billions in restitution for our war with Iraq?

We must defend the good America we sacrificed for
Remarks of Doris Granny D Haddock at the John Kerry Rally, October 3, 2004
Thank you. My generation has been called “the greatest generation,” but I don’t’ think that says much for the men and women of the American Revolution, unless people think we’re really that old.
And the term doesn’t give credit to today’s young people, who are the new patriots of an endangered America, and who are faster and smarter and far b...
