200, 231, and Open HW (over 231.4)

AWARDS:
Trophies for top 3 in each division; Winner in each division qualifies for NAS Nationals

1) MAX LOG
3 attempts; Wessels’ rule
10” Log
60 sec time limit
-Athlete must have arms locked out overhead with head through and legs in line
-Weight jumps will be 20# up to 300#; 10# over 300#
ALLOWED: Belt and chalk, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves
NOT ALLOWED: Building up belt to assist in clean (i.e. towel)
Opening attempts - LW: 200, HW: 230

2) YOKE/ TIRE MEDLEY
Yoke: 50’; Tire: 50’
75 sec time limit
-Athlete must carry a yoke on his shoulders for 50’ and then flip a tire for 50’ across the finish line
-Multiple put-downs of yoke allowed but no sliding; one warning then yoke will be measured for distance
ALLOWED: Belt and chalk, knee sleeves/ wraps
NOT ALLOWED: Tacky, gorilla grip
LW: 600# Yoke, 600# Tire
HW: 700# Yoke, 800# Tire

3) MAX DEADLIFT
Last man standing format; judges call on attempts; athlete must perform every lift; one miss and you are done
Okie bar will be used; conventional stance only – no sumo
60 sec time limit
-Athlete must stand up straight with legs locked, head up, and shoulders back
ALLOWED: Belt and chalk, straps, knee sleeves/ wraps, single ply deadlift/ squat suit
NOT ALLOWED: Tacky or any other artificial grip aids not listed above
Opening attempts - LW: 405, HW: 495

4) KEG CARRY/ FARMERS/ SLED DRAG MEDLEY
Keg: 25’; Farmers: 50’; Keg: 25’; Sled drag: 50’
90 sec time limit
-Athlete must carry a keg 25’ and place the keg upright on a spot marked on the ground, carry two Farmer’s walk implements 50’, carry another keg 25’ and place it upright on a spot marked on the ground, and pull a metal sled backwards 50’ across the line
-Multiple put-downs of kegs and farmers allowed
-Kegs can be carried in any manner
ALLOWED: Belt and chalk, wrist wraps
NOT ALLOWED: Straps, tacky
LW: 200# Keg, 235# Farmers, 250# Keg, 500# Sled drag
HW: 250# Keg, 275# Farmers; 300# Keg, 600# Sled drag

5) ATLAS STONES
60 sec time limit
-Athlete must load 5 stones in ascending order onto a 48” platform
ALLOWED: Belt and chalk, tacky
LW: 220, 250, 280, 300, 330#
HW: 250, 280, 300, 330, 360#

NOTE: We plan on running only one athlete at a time. If the number of athletes get high enough, however, we may run two at a time on the Log and Deadlift. In that case, the HW will use a 12" log for the log press and the LW will not use an okie bar on the DL.
