The other day I was sitting around the table in Brooklyn--oh no, wait, that was Avocado Tom. . . . The Chemist? Everything he knows about chemistry, he learned from his mother.

The other day we were sitting around the table up in Brooklyn, talking about our favorite miscreants, when I said, "Oh, you know TheChemist?". The conversation that followed went something like:
"Can you believe what he gets away with?" "Actually, I can, and it's just fun to watch..." "Yeah, he somehow manages to sneak in under people's defenses and they never know how to react -- they end up not reacting, and before they know it, they're enjoying themselves immensely" "Heh, even though some of them end up feeling tremendously guilty about it after the fact. He seems to enjoy opening people's...minds" "And he does it so well!" So, beware the fuzzy, furry, comfy, gloves. They're oh, so nice... November 13, 2003
The Chemist...he's in his element when he's in the middle of a group of fun loving people. He's a catalyst...add him to the mix and there may be sparks, explosions, or a complete meltdown into plie of pulsating flesh.
And speaking of pulsating flesh...you have not lived until you've gotten a lapdance from The Chemist. Mama wouldn't steer you wrong!

Wow! this morning there has been the most intense thunderstorm I have ever experienced. Massive wind, hail larger than garbanzo beans, rain rain rain, lightning, and there was a tornado like funnel cloud out on the water! Last night was the best dinner so far, up in the hills above Tropea, we had antipasti that was the best ever! a little eggplant, Zucchini, a homemade sopressatta, homemade riccotta cheese, mozzerella, nduja, and more! just fantastic! ciao raggazzi! Well, later in the day yesterday the sun came out and today was wonderful with no real rain. We walked all over Tropea, got some beer, bread, nduja (a very hot soft salami typical to Tropea) and some cheese and ate it on the beach below town. Last nights dinner was fabulous pizza! and of course after every dinner there has been esspresso and limoncello! ciao tutti

Well, Medusa and I arrived in Munich after the most crowed flight to Europe I have ever been on. Not a single empty seat, however Ambien is my new god, as both of us were able to sleep about 7 hours and missed the two fabulous inflight movies: Herbie rides again, and Madagascar. Our 2 hour stay in Munich was highlighted by some nice Weiss Bier and then off to Rome. It was raining when we got there (Sat eve), we stayed with my friend Cristina, her husband Frank, and two small lovely childre...
