The day I was born, little men dressed as spermatazoa jumped out of a rocket-powered phallus marked "Apollo 11" and danced around on the moon, a symbol sacred to Artemis, goddess of the hunt. The last guy to offend Artemis got torn apart by his own hounds, and he had only accidentally seen her naked reflection. I sometimes wonder what Artemis has planned for Apollo.

Musings, meanderings, misunderstandings

It is snowing in Seattle tonight for the second night in a row. The streets are covered in a wet, compactable snow that is not as hard to walk through as the ice that covered the sidewalks yesterday afternoon. Cars are sliding around a bit, especially in places where the blanket of snow has worn away in the road, exposing ice beneath.
