about me
Failte! It has been a long time that I have been AWOL, but a lot has been happening (too much to explain here), and I am now back and much happier :)

I am still a parent of 7, singer/songwriter/musician/poet and herbalist/healer/witch with a strong interest in my Scottish, Irish and Welsh heritage. Also a vegan and vocal activist for our non-human brethren (those who wear fur, feather or scales, and our green brothers and sisters too!). Multi-skilled craftsperson (knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, embroidery, lacemaking, tatting, spinning, sewing, patchwork/quilting, jewellery making and spellweaving ;) ).
Currently teaching myself to play cello (I have played piano for 32 years) and to speak Gaidhlig, in between working as a corsetier :)

I started out by dyeing some solid colours (as I wanted to play with the dyes and see what I could come up with that was clear and bright), and got 8 skeins of gorgeous colours that will look beautiful all knitted up as soakers and long pants for little ones.
