More colour!

Awriiiight! I have finished all the skeins I was dyeing and have photographed them and with some "help" from the feline members of the family lol, wound them into balls ready to knit :)

I have also photographed two of the resulting knitting projects in my hand dyes, pics are in my album :)

Colour everywhere....

I have been busy hand-dyeing skeins of wool using ordinary food colouring that comes in the little bottles from the supermarket, with pretty (IMO) spectacular results so far :)
I started out by dyeing some solid colours (as I wanted to play with the dyes and see what I could come up with that was clear and bright), and got 8 skeins of gorgeous colours that will look beautiful all knitted up as soakers and long pants for little ones. Then I dyed 2 different skeins using 2 colours (the blue and green one pictured here I have nicknamed "Mermaid") and letting them bleed into each other, and am VERY happy with the results :)
I have dyed a total of 14 skeins in the last few days, and have another 5 or 6 to go....will post more pics as I get them finished :)
