about me
Although I began my life in a tiny outpost(first 5 years spent in a lighthouse), From well before the age of ten, I knew my path lay far from home, into places that I could not yet even envision. After attending art school at Rhode Island School of Design, I moved to New York City to pursue my fabric design career for eleven years. In late 1980 I moved to San Francisco, and in the mid-80's I began painting, as well as exploring early electronic graphics. Time spent in the California deserts and Mexico, with the resulting inspiration, led me to move to the Santa Fe area of the American Southwest for 12 years. During that time, travels to the magical Hawaiian islands added yet another dimension. Many spiritual explorations followed and I am currently on the path of a health-conscious visionary artist in transition, I place great importance on the Dreaming aspect of life, natural and electronic connections. Color is everywhere in my world, from painting, hand-dyeing clothes, re-doing cast-off furnishings, eating a colorful array of raw fruits and vegetables, etc. In late 2006, I moved back to San Francisco, where I am very happy to be! In my last post , I had just shifted onto a high-raw diet featuring green smoothies, a ton of greens and veggies during the day, raw snacks, and one healthy cooked meal per day. I have been pretty much staying with this and trying out cool new combos of colorful foods as well as cool dehydrator treats to make foods that are so yummy that it is easy to stay with this! If it is appropriate, I will go to fully raw, but I am not forcing things at this time. This has been awesome, and I am learnin...

Seems to be a time of renewal, after taking some time off from electronic endeavors.
As part of my health renewal program after the winter, I have effortlessly gotten into a groove of a high-raw
eating pattern, featuring green smoothies daily, another raw meal and snacks, and one healthy cooked meal.
I'm loving this, and my energy level improved within only two days on this. I've ...

After rather an introspective winter featuring two bouts of cold and flu, plus an aggravated back injury, I am thankful to say that I am back in the saddle, with a renewed commitment to good health practices and my fitness routine. Have taken up the magical green smoothies, and my "green burritos" as part of my transition to more a high-raw diet. It feels right, beautiful, and my energy level is really amped up by all those fruits and dark greens! Loving it - it's a wonderful reconnection! I ...

In contrast to the madness that was going on with pre-thanksgiving food
shopping, preparations, etc. my husband and I are basically blowing off the
holiday, and keeping it quiet and simple. Likely we'll go out to the beach or
something, as a bunch of beaches around here have been re-opened.
It will be good to connect with nature on th...
