more green magic

In my last post , I had just shifted onto a high-raw diet featuring green smoothies, a ton of greens and veggies during the day, raw snacks, and one healthy cooked meal per day. I have been pretty much staying with this and trying out cool new combos of colorful foods as well as cool dehydrator treats to make foods that are so yummy that it is easy to stay with this! If it is appropriate, I will go to fully raw, but I am not forcing things at this time. This has been awesome, and I am learning new things all the time with the implications of this kind of shift. Been going through a bit of detox and learning experiences, while keeping up a good fitness program, as even this level of raw food is by its very nature very cleansing. It is taking some tweaking of types of foods as to be able to fuel workouts and have a good energy level for same. So far most days that is pretty good, as I am doing more of high-greens, somewhat denser food eating pattern, with some fruits, in order to support weight-training etc. I've gotten lots of good support from online raw food groups too. There's help out there, no matter what you want to do! Recently I had the pleasure here of attending two talks by Viktoras Kulvinskas, the father of the raw food movement, and he was just amazing! A true visionary, and his material is a perfect blend of impassioned mysticism and science that backs him up on all this. I came away with so much new stuff to digest and to inform me of my next refinements on this journey. A dear friend of mine and I are sharing our thoughts about this as well which is great for mutual support. I am finding that I am becoming even more sensitive and also get even greater joy in natural connections. When I see vegetation of any sort now, I feel an even greater connection than ever before, and those finer vibrations are beginning to come through. Ultimately, it is those finer vibrations that I am interested in, as that is the area that informs my art. Recently I had a computer crash and lost some newer digital work but have caught up on that now. Am also nearly finished with one of my larger watercolor paintings, so it's all good!
On my dear friend's recommendation, I am currently reading Yogananda's book, "Autobiography of a Yogi" which seems to be really appropriate right now. This is the first of a few other books that I have full intentions of reading as well as i'm an avid reader of good material!
