Born in Oregon city,grew up in lake Oswego,and lived in Portland. When i got back from collage in 1993 I started playing Drums with Higher Ground in Portland Or. Our home gig was "Belmonts Inn" on S.E. 34th Bellmont st. Through out the years we played some great gigs, from the re- opening of the Crystal Ballroom,Ben Harper,Mearl Sanders,Steve Kimock,Dave Nelson,Left Over Salmon,Charles Nevile,The Nevil Brothers,The String Cheese Incident,and many more!!!Summer festivals were some of my greatest memories from High Sierra to the Oregon Country Fair. Through out the 13 years we tried out different line ups to keep the music together.I left and came back a few times and have played with many different rythem sections. Towards the end, the lead guitarest and I were the only two remaining original members. My last gig with Higher Ground was summer of 2006 at the Sun/gemini fest with tyler(big island shindig) on bass,Alan G. guitar and Josh B Drums. I had lots of fun playing in this group and miss it a lot. I grew up in H.G. playing music and I would not have learned what i did if i didn't.......
Today I live outside of Olympia Wa. with my girlfriend Tina and our two golden retrvers Cedar and Sabian and Betty our white persian cat. We bought a home on a lake with some land on the side. I love it up here, with the olympic mt. surounding us and the slow pace of a small town mentality. I Joined a band that was based out of olympia and was established in the business. So i do lots of travling around music and on the off time i am remodling our home..
