I'm a jaded idealist. I have a background in ecological design, and still hold onto the hope of improving the world through more thoughtful design of our built environment. However, most of the time I lack the faith in human kind to make intelligent choices, causing me to just say screw it! So, I try to enjoy things as they are, while still striving for improvement.
