My Testimonials

December 1, 2008
I would have never picked anyone better to call my little sister.
Beautiful inside and out, smart, vivacious & similarly sick sense of humor.
The talent that shoots out from your idy bidy fingertips and inspires all that it hits is absolutely amazing.
To have gone through so many DCs and still come out with the most talented men to play him constantly has me gobsmacked.

I have the most fun playing with you and playing off of you. When you are blue I feel it, when you are happy I catch it...so make sure you're happy damn it!
You are my lil sis, and not just at faires, you are my sis in spirit and in life and I love you much.

So, what say we grab a couple of pumpkins, put 'em on our heads and go bar hoping?

There are few people I've met the last few years, that have taken my heart's breath away like Amy.

No, I'm not a lover. I'm an auntie.

For those of you who have loving aunties's you'll get it.

For those of you don't , oh so sorry.

I have a niece named Tanya who adores me.

I have a friend named Amy who calls me auntie.

Love 'em both.

Hugs.

She's my little sister ... figuratively and, sometimes, during Faire! She's a strong, smart, and ultimately caring friend.

Let me just say,
I adore you, I adore you, I adore you.
And as far as lady kisses go, I quite prefer yours.
And my alter ego Wysteria gets giddy when she watched you walk. Both coming and going. In all sincerity, You are a beautiful person inside and out.
Luv Ya. :?x

When all is said and done, I hope I am described by those who know and love me as someone who had to work hard to make her life happy, but who ultimately suceeded (even if she could not spell).

In the meantime, I will be at the bar, plotting my next move.

My Blog

I am still looking for a home for my father's two beloved bunnies. It was one of his greatest concerns that they be well cared for after he was gone. Many people have suggested adoption societies, but I would really like to place them directly to a home, where I can meet their new family. These are two extremely pampered house rabbits. They are friendly on their own terms- meaning if you just open the door to their pen and leave them alone, they will eventually come out and say hi. They are e... read more

The internet filter at my work does not want to let me view the Otherbookistan tribe because it falls under the category of 'pornography'.

Does anyone know of any guilds or other groups offering scholarships?

As you may know, I am taking the plunge this fall and beginning work on my masters, and after that possibly a doctorate. Either way, I will be studying and eventually teaching history. I figure if there is a community out there that can understand and support that passion, it is ours!

Any info or leads appreciated.

Thanks!!!

My Feed

It was horrible, everywhere I went yesterday, no matter how hard I fought, how fast I drove/ran/crawled, everywhere I looked, I saw them, I felt them watching me, I could hear the horrible, shallow, nasally breathing of.. THE LIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just sat through conversation on how to better serve the undead population in our community. Talk about unclear on the concept..

That's it! The Heep's got a full tank, I'm makin' a break for it.

The streets should be clearing of panicky breathers by now. I figure my best bet is to avoid the living as well as the dead.............

Have barricaded myself inside Boys & Girls Clubs. Am currently trying to convince upper mangement they cannot network with the undead. There are no shared values or common goals with this one, get over it.

Luckily the kids are just itchen' to do some violence, so I feel well protected.

All in a day, really- back to work!

This was sent out by one of the Boys & Girls Clubs staff members. If any of you have a dress you would be able to donate, please contact me!!!!

Hello all,

I am requesting that we come together to help out a group of deserving teenage girls!

As some of you may know, a group of our girls from the BGCP were able to participate in the Princess Project, a non-profit organization that provides young girls with prom dresses and accessories to lift the financial burden of prom off the shoulders of girls in the community, allowing them to enjoy their big event.

Unfortunately, a group of girls from the East Palo Alto Boys and Girls Club were unable to participate, as they had made arrangements to assist in the EPA Community Celebration that fell on the same day.

Their proms are in two weeks, and unfortunately these girls do not have the means to purchase dresses for the event.

I am hoping, if you are able, that you find it in you to help our ladies out. If you can assist in any way (donation of a lightly worn evening gown, donations, etc.), please contact me ASAP, so we can make sure our girls do not miss out on their big night. Also, please make it a point to forward this to anyone who you feel can help.

Thank you for your attention towards this matter!
