<div>Here are the pics from the car accident I was in last night. She's the white car, and I'm the green truck. I've always been a good driver. If you ask me, that bitch was driving too fast and deliberately tried to cut me off. Aren't you supposed to give the car on the right the "right of way"? My insurance company says that technically I'm at fault because I was the one merging lanes. BULL SHIIIIT! Anyways I'm fully covered. My insurance even covers rental car for when my truck is in the shop. Good thing she took the most damage. GO BACK TO LA ALL YOU ROADHOGGING BASTARDS!!!</div>

<div> I LOVE BACON. I'm starting a bacon club. Basically members will meet at potlucks and bring bacon influenced dishes. Or just bacon. Full member participation is required, entrees must arrive fully cooked. (unless your dish is sushi with bacon). It would help if you lived in or near Santa Barbara but it's not fully neccessary. Message me ASAP so I can get this bacon party started...

Balancing Qi Energy: The Mystery of Yin and Yang
February 20, 2008 By: chipower Category: Uncategorized

Everyone has heard of the expression Yin and Yang, and yet how many really use it and apply it to their everyday life as it relates to Qi Energy?

Yin is the softer side of energy while Yang is considered the hard side….This statement couldn’t be farther from the truth….In all things you have soft and hard, and that is what makes energy so volatile at times….

I can remember my instructor telling me that if you build up too much Yang energy, that you will start to repel away people and things…..People, being anyone I came in contact with and things, being cars, money, relationships, jobs, etc….

When I first heard this I thought that was nonsense, but after being at this for many years, I have seen people come and go that couldn’t control the energy they were building and it lead to a fall….Most of the times these people start off as well meaning, but eventually they turn to those that think they know more than the teacher….

Anytime you think you know more than the teacher, you put yourself in a compromising position that can only lead to frustration and problems…

You see, you get only as good as you expect to get. If you even think you are better than someone else, that energy is out in the open. There are NO SECRETS with Qi. You can’t hide and think “it was just a thought” or ” I didn’t mean it” …

The Chi cuts with a double edged knife…..Your good intentions go out with the chi as the super-amplifier, but on the other side your bad feelings or intentions go out as well….This is why you must keep your mind bridled….

Have you ever heard the old expression “THE MIND MOVES THE Qi”?

It is more true than you can imagine, and when you use it for the right and just purposes, you get amazingly positive results; when you don’t……You get disastrous ones….

Once your energy develops to a high level, you are like a beacon of light. That light will not go out unless you put it out, so you need to be careful on how you use that light….

Now, getting back to Yin and Yang…..When you use Yin energy, it is usually pleasing and will allow you to attract what you want. When I say “what you want”, I mean anything you want…..

What ever your mind can create, it can manifest if you believe….When you use Yin energy, it is a euphoric blend of emotions that allows you to get what you want, because you are blessing those around you with a pleasant energy that feels good to all who feel it….

This causes a natural energy of receptivity like none other……

When you use too much Yang energy, it has a tendency to get you in trouble….Mostly with spouses or girlfriends, significant others, because they all of a sudden feel a pressure that is too strong. Strong Qi is good, as long as it “FEELS GOOD”….

Many beginners mistake strong qi for good chi….This couldn’t be further from the truth. Your thoughts must always be for the chi to be “GOOD AND STRONG”, and yet subtle enough that it can persuade with power….A power that is both Yin and Yang….

We have experienced those that thought after a few years of training, they could be “THE MASTER”. These foolish people think that the answer is in the power of the chi only.

It is not…..

The power is in the subtle aspects of the chi and how you use it for good. If you are not blessing those around you, if you are envious or desirous of others without cause, you can self destruct….

Everything starts with the thoughts. They go out and fill out our world. If your Qi is strong and dense enough, these thoughts can be a healing or hurting force….The problem with a hurting force, is that it can only do one thing and that is destroy…..

When you use your chi in a hurting, negative or destroying manner, you set into motion the universal laws of attraction, that will come back to you like a boomerang of whatever type of energy you have put into the “ether”….

This is why words which conjure up the wrong types of emotions, such as Hate, Envy, Pride, Jealousy, and other words which when thought or uttered can only bring bad karma on you and others…..

How many times do we see the famous of our society self destruct through drugs, sex, and other temptations?

The same is true with your chi energy, if you don’t take the time to cultivate it and nurture it as a blessing to others, not as an “IN YOUR FACE” obstacle that you put on others….

So what is the difference between Yin and Yang training? Yang training is any of the exercises that build up the energy, develop the pressure, or add to the density of the experience….Many adepts of this art, concentrate solely on this element, and never consider the path they are creating by only doing a “Yang” exercise without the Yin.

Now, many who profess to be using the Yin and Yang in balance, are actually only doing a modified Yang element. For example, you can relax the body down as much as you can during a standing meditation, but it is still a Yang exercise.

Yin training is any exercise where you are relaxing the body down, allowing the body rest for sensitivity training and other more mind-expanding options…

I have also known those that have done so much Yin training that it eventually turned to Yang…..I have known of some that have done laying down meditations for 48 hours straight. A fine test, but ultimately it leads to an “Out of balance” state.

The very simple question to ask your self to monitor your workout is: Am I balancing my workouts with both Yin and Yang?

This is why our Training combines both protocols, so that you can become balanced and will not take on the harmful side effects of being too much Yin or too much Yang. It is balance, were in Yang there is Yin and in Yin there is Yang….
