I am peaceful within. I am red roses, black lipstick and corsets. I am cotton candy, building blocks and cartoons. I am mother, wife, sister, daughter, lover, bestfriend, worst enemy, and student. I am fierce, timid, strong, weak, black, white, emotional, thick skinned, ambitious, flighty. I am everything I am, nothing more, nothing less.
I am the founder/director of Scimitar BellyDance a gothic belly dance and fire dance troupe that started in El Paso, TX that is moving on up to Denver, Colorado. I look forward to meeting more like minded individuals with same interest and meeting those who would like to know more about what I do. I have been blessed and honoured to open up for some really kick ass bands such as: The Last Dance The Cruxshadows Vast Diverje Armageddon Dildos Inertia Assemblage 23 Superstring God Module Gothminister Aryia Raine Vivian Simple Shelter Vertigo Shock Blood Simple Otep Hell Yeah and many more. that has been the issue so far. feeling a twee bit conceited when i try to write it out. I have written bios for other dancers and they come out awesome. I even do marketing so I am fairly good at it, i just can't seem to do it for myself. HEHEHE

Being a dancer and choreographer I have learned to keep myself humble. I always am aware there are those out there that are bigger and better then I am. There will ALWAYS be somebody bigger and better then I am. I love that. It makes me strive to be better. It makes me challenge myself. BUT, I believe my humbleness has become self doubt. I know I have done some great things and that I am a good dancer, not great but i'm alright. I could be better.

I only just met Saz'hrah at Gothla last weekend out front while saying hi to someone from Seattle (Maureen of Hand of Kali) whom I had shared a house at the first Maui Intensive- saw her perform (NICE!) and then saw her on the "youtubish" video interview that's posted on their tribe now.
I just want to say that she is a super sweet girl and it was really nice meeting her. We had some dialogue about the putting on of eyelashes prior to a performance. Hey, it's a fairly "random" testimonial - but then, many of us only have these passing interactions at fetivals, yeah? I do hope to see Saz'hrah again - soon! Desiree February 14, 2008
this woman rocks!!! she's fun,funny,and super sweet! I knew as soon as I saw her dance that she would be taking the world by storm... the dark sorceress weaves her magic spell and the masses fall entranced!!! she is the dark magic of old..... i cant wait to stand in her presence once more!!!

I had the honor of meeting this talented darling last Summer at her Enchanted Darkness event. Not only can she bring the house down with her awesome ballet/bellydance skills, but she looks really freakin' hot for having 4 children. I am glad to call her a friend after all this time and if you have not seen this lady dance yet, then you are certainly missing out. I look foward to taking part in her event again this Summer :)
