I am currently feeling very blessed for being cast as Ariel in The Victoria Shakespeare Society's production of The Tempest. The production will run outdoors on Camosun College's campus grounds, in July.

The Tempest is the story of Prospero, a Duke who as been usurped from his dukedom by his brother. Jan 9th/08 Times Colonist Reported that out of all the species of salmon who came through Goldstream Park this year there were only TWO Chinook, both of which were male.

This saddens me. I've always felt extremely connected to the salmon flow of autumn, as I have many childhood memories of visiting Goldstream park to see the fish glide under the water. As many of you know, I'm currently saving money to go to theatre school. I've recently decided to get a second part time job, and after much consideration I've decided to look into joining an agency for extra work on film and tv. Not totally my thing, but as I'm willing to take trips to Vancouver for shoots, and it will work best with my current work schedule. All in alI think it's a good thing to try. Not to mention you get paid pretty damn well for most of it too.
