What to say about dear Lenie... hmmm...
If I had to sum her up in 3 words or less, what comes to mind is "Funny. Talented. Beautiful."
Funny: She's definitely the bubbliest person I know... We must remember not to feed her any more beans or cabbage...
Talented: Whether on pennywhistle, bodhran, tambourine, vocals or autoharp, she's almost always up for a tune, if the ale hasn't already gotten to her... She's also the best electric autoharpist I know...
Beautiful: With a compassionate heart of gold, a personality to match her bubbly faire character, a soft spot for small animals, a quick wit, a gentle smile, a way with children, and one of the more huggable folks around even with an occasional dash of melodrama thrown in, it's a shame we're both taken...
Love ya, Lenie... Keep on being you.

Lenie is a ray of sunshine. Her lovely smile and laughing eyes are contagious. More than once it has lightened my mood to see her unexpectedly.
She's got that rare talent of being true to herself that draws people to her. She's one of those folks that I felt that I could trust the moment I met her. I wish there were more folk in the world like her!
I hated to see her sad. Now her joy is evident and it makes me very happy.
I look forward to the joy of seeing that radiant smile more at faire this coming year!

The first time I met you (that I truly recall), was in our backyard with John and many Danse Macabre folk. I admired your dedication to your sick husband and was glad I could be of some comfort to you during those darker times. I have watched you grow and come back to life and smiled for you, worried about you, and fell in love with you as a sister that I never had since childhood, if that makes any sense.
I love how you are so supportive, and non-judgmental. You take people as you find them and though you do not hide your beliefs, you do not ever ever ever force them upon anyone! Yet I know you are there for anyone to talk to about such things if they want. I admire your musical talents as well and often see you as the better musician, hands down! I have often enjoyed the clothing choices you wear! It shows the free spirit within you.
All in all I see a wild but yet balanced woman, still growing in some areas, and so very grown-up in others. I love how you are both child and woman all in one. I really love calling you my friend. hugs, :)
