I'm a 29-year-old female living in Marietta, a suburb Atlanta. I'm married. I'm a mom to a 6-year-old boy named Declan. I'm a hedonistic pantheist. I'm bisexual. I'm polyamorous. I'm a hooper. I'm a dancer. I enjoy burns, but I'm not sure I qualify as a burner. In the past, I've performed with local pagan bands (Trybalaka & Evocation). I'm less interested with working with a band in the traditional sense and more interested in making good and mostly original music with my loved ones. Our new group is called Entwined. I have a tattoo on my head. (I have other tattoos, but that's the most obvious.) I talk alot and think more. I spend alot of time smiling and laughing. I'm a very happy person. Hmmm... guess those are the basics.

Declan's very excited. Yesterday, during the ultrasound, right after the tech said we were having a boy. Declan said, "Boy, boy, boy, boy..." Then, he leaned over to my belly and said, "Are there any boys in there?" and cracked up.
The baby was mostly on his side, with his back and butt facing us and one hand over his face. So, no creepy baby face shots. Probably just as well at 22 weeks:) They were able to determine sex and now I've been looking at boy names until my eyes feel blurry! We...

I don't have to go into the office today. This week has been kicking my ass. I'm in the office 3 days, including all day tomorrow and Declan's had swim lessons every afternoon. I handle full workdays much better from home:), but I did it and I couldn't have 2 months ago, so that's an accomplishment!
My back feels almost normal! I've been waking up every day for over a month not able to bend over and using pain relief, muscle rubs and a vibrating pillow for an hour or so befor...

Declan spun fire for the first time! He's *almost* 7. I let him spin off my hoop, with his promise to not do any tricks, just hoop his waist, keep his hands in the air and if it dropped, let it! It's one thing to catch an unlit hoop, but catching a lit hoop, for a beginner, is a great way to grab a wick. He did so well with that and got so excited, I let him have a spin all to himself, even showing him how to get the hoop ready and light it, though I did it, I just wanted him to start learnin...

This weekend was good, overall. I had an awesome time with Morgan at the Birth event Saturday. We got to see the DVD of the unassisted birth of Psalm and Zoya ( www.earthbirthproductions.com/). It's amazing! I had some interesting conversations about extended breastfeeding, home birthing and unassisted birthing with more mainstream mamas. We got to hang out with some of the Atlanta Freebirthers, which is cool, because it's nice not to feel odd, for a bit! Oh, we also both got massages. ...
