about me
Loyal friend and companion
Hello Friend,
I am a single, 59 year old woman, living in Manteca, Ca.
Here is a career history of my Renaissance and Dickens re-enactment life:
1985-86 At Blackpoint (Novado, Ca.) The ’Well’ with Julie St. Germain as a washerwoman.
1987 My 1st Dickens, I was with the mongers. I sold neckerchiefs and ties to patrons (although, I never really sold any, just a gig)
1988-90 With the Coventry Carolers. Sang with the best bunch of ladies and gents, They allowed me to join them as I can barely carry a tune in bucket alone.
1991 Returned to RPFN at Blackpoint, joined the kitchen of St. Cuthbert. Sort of fell into this, as I was just helping out, then became the Head of the kitchen, I worked with them until 2000 both at Ren and Dickens. I left Cuthbert for personal reasons.
2001 Vacaville: Queens court as Head Cook. Cooked for the Queen, loved that group.
2000-01 Dickens as Scrooge’s washerwoman. Oh, I also worked 2000 with the mongers, a very sweet and funny bunch of people.
2001 Moved to Missouri. Moved back to California when my divorce was finally over in May of 2005.
2006 I returned to Dickens in a new role, for me, I was Mrs. Cratchit. I was very excited. I figure it's about time I did something other than hide backstage. I will be returning to my part as Mrs. Cratchit again in Dec. 2007
2008 I gave up my role as Mrs. Cratchit and a new role was created for me as Mim Cratchit the mother of Bob Cratchit, it's so I can be the child wrangler for all the Cratchit kids (10). Not all the kids are on stage at the same time and so I take care of those that are in the green room. Look for us when we do our walk about
