Just to say thankyou for being such a great teacher and special matey. I love your mad cap ways, your smile and your pride in the group and on top of that I love to watch your grace and skill when you dance. Thanks for being patient when I know you probably want to scream in frustration and know at times you want to gag me in class when I prattle on and disrupt the class but thanks for not doing it!! Thanks for your optimism when you teach us new things and we groan and moan! I may not be the best but I try and hell I enjoy not only the dancing but our social group. I try hard and think I have learnt alot and improved considerably and that is because of you. I would never have thought a few years ago that I would be able to stand up in front of people and dance and enjoy it! So thanks my belly dancing buddy - long may Khalila reign and I am sure we will with you at the helm. xx

Kath, I can't thank you enough for being a beaconfire for my soul. I've had so many hints over the years that I should be doing the bellydance...stupid me has to be 35 before she gets it!! But if not for you and your fantastic group of women, my life wouldn't be near as fun, positive and special as it is now. You have truly made a difference in my life. You da bomb (and you're cute too)!

my high points( apart from the obvious one of spending a whole weekend away dancing with some of the best women in the world...) were definitely Kajira's workshops (wonderful!!) and also Raqia's on sunday afternoon which was great because I was feeling a bit doubtful having heard quite mixed reports from people on saturday...but she did some really fun and funky saaidi and was warm and funny, though I think she could probably floor you with a lo...
