I would like to announce that this afternoon my late husband Frank's grandson was born to Christopher and Melissa Hurlbut in Missoula, Montana:

7 pounds, 12 oz, 20 inches

He was named for his dad Chris and his grandpa Frank.

You were a very good dad, Frank. You raised an awesome son. I know that you were so proud of him and he of you. And now he is a father to be. I know you would be so happy and excited. I can just see the sparkle in your eye talking about your grandchild on the way and all the plans you would be making. And I know that you would be just as great a granddad as you were a dad.

Oh Frank, I was sitting here thinking about you and a funny moment popped into my memory.
