Today is the 12th anniversary of my mother's death. Where have the years gone? It doesn't seem possible on one hand, and on the other, it seems like forever. Well, Friday, I got the stitches out, actually the nurse called it a wire, which it was. One little snip at the end of it and it slid right out. Had to wait 36 hours to get it wet, but that first shower with being able to felt sooooo good. Ron has been a saint. He has had to shower me, cut up my food, do everything. I'm still not allowed to move my arm away from my body at all, so basically I can't do anything. Yesterday was the first day I showered all by myself! I was so proud, LOL! ... read more

We're so proud of her. Sheri emailed me last night. They had been to the High School Diving Team's banquet. Courtney received a MAJOR letter for her diving efforts! She's only a freshman. Sheri said she was so excited. Now they have to go buy a letter jacket! I remember both Rick & Sheri having letter jackets and both minor & major letters.
