Director of 'Jewels of the Harem Bellydance Studio', home of 'Tribal Jewels' and student troupe 'Gypsy Jewels'. Teaching Bellydance styles is my Career. I'm a Melanesian islander gal, live near the beach, love the sand between my toes & the smell of the ocean. 2007 we celebrated the opening of a larger & newer muti dance Studio in the Wollongong CBD on Crown street. A year on now & its looking more comfortable!

Jewels Trio Fusion
Early this year Kim asked Jasmine & myself to join her in a wedding booking for a Turkish & Serbian community. Ive been so OVER the whole 'cabaret thing' for sometime so I asked Kim if they would be open to a 'NEW' floor show. So with much thought & discussion with the client ( a regular ) he was very open to a 'NEW LOOK', So the trio 'pictured above' worked together for a while on a fusion piece of choregraphy & designed a simple over skirt straight panel to go over our Melodia pants & w... read more

Well, what a successful evening it was!

Im still receiving rave reviews from current students young & old, their loved ones & parents.
Even with the new Term 3 starting....it seems to be still so fresh in everyones memory. Members are still buzzing!
A big thankyou for the wonderful performances by all 10 classes (65 students), 2 teachers & the very talented 5 musicians involved.
Im thrilled it was a successful, enjoyable evening for all. Amazing to think we had 236 members & guests. ... read more
