can of lighter fluid. I've had it in my garage for two years
thinking I would use it with my "never used" cheap hibachi
-- not!
hmmm, should I bring that too?

juwannathunder is her name...one would think she is a fierce warrior, but this woman posseses a captivating kindness that wraps around you safe and warm. i met jan back at the very first no burner left behind, and since then, have had the most wonderful pleasure of being in her company often, always a happy loving soul, with a smile for everyone, and a helping hand. thank you beautiful lady for being my friend, it has been such a pleasure getting to know you over the last few years, and many more to come.
luv, sweet~ May 30, 2007
Since introducing Jan into this community, her first event being Baja Bash '04...she has become an important asset. Ready to help where needed, just ask;-).
She is playful, fun, highly creative...a bit shy, but she does play well with others so just ask. A soft spoken, Leo who likes to be petted. Next time you see her, give her a big hug and kiss you will see her truely grateful smile. XOXO January 3, 2006
There have been but a few times in my life when a kindred spirit such as Juwanna has moved me with her friendship and kindness. Those fortunate enough to call her friend have a soulmate that warms their day. She is sincere, respectful, and as true a person as any will encounter. My favorite thing about Juwanna is the zest with which she pursues every aspect of her chosen path.

about me
I'm a country girl at heart who cannot say no to the city. My imagination thinks I live in many states, countries and environments. Quiet peaceful nature; the beach, or any place with flowing water is ultimately my comfort zone.
My involvement with the Burning Man community seems to be reviving my artistic nature, spirit, and ability to socialize. Through these gatherings I observe an amazing new world of humans out there with like-mind. I so enjoy making new friends. My long-standing, close friends of the "default world" are awesome, and have remained stellar support and inspiration. I am so blessed with friends and am so grateful. Then there are those times I prefer the company of animals to people, and prefer quiet nature to socializing. I'm very moody and can revert to a very reclusive state that some people (who don't know me well) may find strange or offensive. I suppose this is due to my upbringing or inherited from various family members. That mode can also be translated into a highly creative state when I make time to do so. Visual art is in my blood and I am broadening my perspective. Though born with a natural talent for drawing, painting and crafts, I recognized at an early age that graphic art would be the best vehicle for me to making a living. I taught myself... and so did the experiences I put myself through. I did that even before the computer, but a few sweet and incredible left/right brained geeks taught me (the MAC) and sent me cruising along my digital path. I plan to explore new ways of expressing my computer talent, along with getting back to my "roots" in fine art with a fresh new eye. My lust for life is very high, and the wild roller coaster journey of it seems never-ending. I'll stick to that ride for as long as I'm able!

I had a "different" little adventure on this beautiful, January Sunday: the fun and wild "Doo Dah" parade in Old Town, Pasadena, CA. Here's my album link: picasaweb.google.com/JuwannaSee/DooDah Believe it or not, this is quite a historical little event (okay, NOT so little!) Started 15 years ago and is sort-of a spoof on the Rose Bowl Parade... (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doo_Dah_Parade) It is also an event ... read more
