<div>Finally got my albums organized this week!

This was a very interesting experience. Hot and muggy is very challenging for me. Light packing for to the boat ride was very different, and I did not expect it to be so hot. The nudity restrictions were a bummer... otherwise I would have felt better running around topless with a sarong! hah! On top of that, I left my parasol at home too. Ah well, live and learn! Made me much more focused on how to dress for the Burn this year!

Regardless, I enjoyed it a lot. I also enjoyed being a part of the Phat Elvis crew. Wish I could have taken more pictures inside the Shack! Whaaa!

Oh, also, I snagged a couple shots to add to mine because I send these links to my non-burner friends too. So if you see one you took, let me know so I can add you name to the shot.

Later today I will post my Elysium album too. Here's the Alma link:

<div>since I've ridden in a parade? My, how things change... (love it!)

I had a "different" little adventure on this beautiful, January Sunday: the fun and wild "Doo Dah" parade in Old Town, Pasadena, CA. Here's my album link:

http://picasaweb.google.com/JuwannaSee/DooDah

Believe it or not, this is quite a historical little event (okay, NOT so little!) Started 15 years ago and is sort-of a spoof on the Rose Bowl Parade... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doo_Dah_Parade) It is also an event that has filtered into a couple other states as well: Columbus, OH and Norfolk, VA. I also read somewhere there is something similar in New Orleans, but sexier ~ not so family oriented... (hmmm??!!)

Now, I did not take photos of the whole parade... these are just my views (since I got to RIDE IN it!) Sooo much fun! I grabbed a few shots from sites I found on-line. To find links to photos and U-Tube, Google the name (Doo Dah Parade, Pasadena) or go to:

http://www.pasadenadoodahparade.info/.

Now, you will see a few Burner folks in here. This IS an interactive event. Can't believe this is not something our community isn't more involved in. I'd love to see the SD/OC Burners get creative on this one. Hey Lindz??? How many blocks do ya think yer giraffe can walk? This one was only about 5.5 blocks!

Hey Charlie, thanks for the awesome ride sweetie! ;) xoxo
