Jeez... sitting here with a head cold all weekend... so I figure I'll do my taxes. I have lotsa spare time, and need a little cheering up. My taxes are easy and I always get a refund, so this seems promising.

So I go through filing and I get a whopping: $74.

Fuck you, Government.

My first job outta high school I was making the same amount of money ($16/hr in 1987, vs $20/hr now), and I got $1300 back!


Oh... and ooooooh! Economic Stimulus Package... $600!! Wow. That'll pay half my insurance for a year. Or my rent for a month.

Whoop - de - fuckin - do.

Pathetic.

I'm going back to bed.

better than owing!.....i had to pay 'the man' last year because i dun screwed up on my tax forms when i moved to California....so they raped me!!! bastards!
