As you may or may not know, the Bay Area Derby Girls have lost not only their venue to bout in, but also their practice space! We have had to cancel our last two bouts and have been practicing in parking lots and along the Embarcadero. We are desperately trying to find a new space so that we don't have to cancel our entire season! At derby practice we were informed that there is a national database of roller girl names that you have to register with so that no two roller girls have the same name. Well guess what? My cool fuckin' name is already taken!! Grrrrrrrrrr The chick spelled it stupid too.
