What dreams are these? Why do they haunt instead of enlighten? I call upon the magic and mystery… Come to me…in a light touch of inspiration… release my self- imposed bondage. I do not know a God that wants suffering.. man is the creator of suffering! I am in a universe of limitless bounty…why do I create bars? A self imposed cage…preventing my own flight? I release my self… I am free… I am Beauty and Love and Goodness in the very depth of my Being… Arise…be of courage… I can fly.

Although there are critics of the idea that we have the Power to Deliberately Manifest our reality...it does not negate the 'truth' of this most fundamental yet relatively undeveloped inner Power. As Dancers we are Blessed with an added dimension in the process of manifestation....through Dance we call forth the elegance of the soul...the pure unbridled creativity of the 'muse'...and the pristine passion of our heart. We have the opportunity to elevate ourselves in all aspects of our lives. Jan. 19, 2007 Belly Dance, Ancient Wisdom and The Law of Attraction………. This is my first entry. I suppose I could look at my recent life events as a necessary unfolding to bring me to this place. The physical place of Cyprus after the war in Lebanon and the place I have arrived in my travels of consciousness. The move to Lebanon from the US was an explosive event- even before the War. I was brought face to face with all of my demons and my beauty. On the physical plane you might call it culture shock- but it was so much deeper than that! You think you know about a culture until you actually ‘live’ in it and you think you know yourself until you meet another ‘yourself’. Not really speaking the language- understanding only bits and pieces of the words- only ‘feeling’ the ‘vibes’ of the social interactions- creates a surrealistic world of experience. You begin to question yourself- your ability to project a once familiar personality- that Person you thought you were- no longer has the external support system of friends and family that ‘Know’ you. Then you begin to ask yourself- ‘who am I?’ You feel fear at first- as though you are lost to yourself- and so you are. That is when you realize you have a choice- either fight to maintain a previous illusion or surrender to the ‘gift’ – an opportunity to create- through deliberate attention and Intention- a new you- one born of the ashes of your former self- one that recognizes the divine moving within you- calling out for an expression of ‘truth’ Of who you REALLY are. In our most vulnerable moment we are given our greatest strength- our ‘True’ power. You get to remove your mask- You feel the breeze on your face.
