***************** WHAT: Apocalypse! WHAT: Fandango's End-of-the-World Party WHERE: The P*rn Palace, 415 Jessie St., San Francisco WHEN: Saturday, July 14, 2007, 9pm-2am WHO: The Friends, and Friends-of-Friends, of Fandango. COST: $10 to $20 in advance, sliding scale. ($20 at the door.) WHY: Fundraiser for Fandango Village infrastructure at Burning Man (Bars, Trucks, Trash, Furnishings, Booze, Lumber, Trash) **************** ADVANCE TICKETS via PAYPAL: fandangoparty at gmail dot com **************** How is the World going to End? Will it be the inevitable Zombie apocalypse? Will we all fight each other to the death over a few precious drops of gasoline? Will the world snuff it in a Biblical plague of locusts, hellfire, and right-wing damnation? Will the toxic sludge of our corporate paymasters give rise to some new brand of avenger? Or will we all have to sprout gills when the ice caps melt, leaving us with nothing but some horrible, watery-world? We don't know, but we hope you'll help us figure it out at Apocalypse!, Fandango's 2007 Fundraiser, at Kink.com's P*rn Palace. Two different dance floors will feature Fandango's Apocalypse DJs, playing everything from industrial to breaks to Miami bass. We have limited time before the End, so let's make good use of it on the dancefloor. -------------------------------------------------- Please feel free to invite all your friends. We hope to see you there! Fandango Here's the Apocalyptic DJ Line-Up: Barroom Breakdown: TSAE Labs- Live Set (Toddberticus Labs, Motown) DJ Steve.J (Motown, Fandango) DJ Island Girl (Fandango) Skye (Stargaze, Ambient Mafia) The Captain (Chill Syndicate, Ambient Mafia) Shane ( FnF, Ambient Mafia) Dungeon of Doom: Actual Rafiq (the dRow, Ambient Mafia) Olde Nasty (Butterzone, Ambient Mafia) Redstickman (FnF, Ambient Mafia) Malderor (Fandango) Mo Corleone (Want It, Ambient Mafia) Visuals by: Junktronix Check out the brand-new flyer; attached, or download it from here. (Artwork by C-Dub): www.fandango.net/index.php...lyer_mk_3/ -------------------------------------- A Random Note on Admission: The facility is going to be a *lot* more expensive this year, so please consider paying in advance, so we know we're not going to take a total bath on this party. (Remember, there will be a host-bar from 9pm-10pm for those that have paid in advance.) Also, we do not need to do all that complicated "advanced guestlist" stuff this time around, because we're a fully-licensed event. So feel free to bring guests, and please forward this to all your email lists; your roommates, your publicists, your synchronized swimming team, whatever. Everybody is welcome. (21+, though, sorry.) Let's get the word out about Apocalypse so that we can throw a great party, with lots of fresh, tasty, brainmeats.
I blame Peter & Dan for the copy catness

And, not quite what I expected, but.............. it makes sense.................... Auditory : 23% Visual : 76% Left : 60% Right : 40% corinne, you are somewhat left-hemisphere dominant and show a preference for visual learning, although not extreme in either characteristic. You probably tend to do most things in moderation, but not always. Your left-hemisphere dominance implies that your learning style is organized and structured, detail oriented and logical. Your visual preference, though, has you seeking stimulation and multiple data. Such an outlook can overwhelm structure and logic and create an almost continuous state of uncertainty and agitation. You may well suffer a feeling of continually trying to "catch up" with yourself. Your tendency to be organized and logical and attend to details is reasonably well-established which should afford you success regardless of your chosen field of endeavor. You can "size up" situations and take in information rapidly. However, you must then subject that data to being classified and organized which causes you to "lose touch" with the immediacy of the problem. Your logical and methodical nature hamper you in this regard though in the long run it may work to your advantage since you "learn from experience" and can go through the process more rapidly on subsequent occasions. You remain predominantly functional in your orientation and practical. Abstraction and theory are secondary to application. In keeping with this, you focus on details until they manifest themselves in a unique pattern and only then work with the "larger whole." With regards to your career choices, you have a mentality that would be good as a scientist, coach, athlete, design consultant, or an engineering technician. You can "see where you want to go" and even be able to "tell yourself," but find that you are "fighting yourself" at the darndest times.

corinne, corinne, corinne...let's say she introduced me to my first dentist's chair, my first corset, and a dead turntable needle that prompted one of the best sets i've ever had - at her birthday. and there's another one coming up ALREADY. (geezus, sometimes i swear you have two birthdays every year ;)) she's just completely full of hope and joy for the things she has. she's so much fun to hang around, she makes me laugh, and i'm sure if i gave her enough time she'd make me cry too (in a good way of course). i'm looking forward to many more years of knowing her because slowly, she's helping renew my faith in women.
