I'm a mother of four who have grown up. I got into belly dance through Terri who is a colleague at work. i'm a nurse and find that belly dance frees me from the stresses of life and gets me grounded with other women. It feels great to celebrate my femininity with the sexy moves we learn and helps me with back problems. I love the improvisional style of belly dance we do and the closeness I feel with my dance sisters. It has helped me through a difficult divorce, the empty nest syndrome and the stresses of caring for sick people in acute settings. It is a celebration of life.
