To my Sissy.....the other half of my brain. :) My Sissy, the traveler, roaming this earth, eyes wide open. Taking it all in, and then writing home with words in stories that paints a picture for us all to see. Through her, I have traveled the world. I have seen all that she has seen.....just like when we were kids. I was always able to learn from her experience.....the good and the bad. My sissy. Strong, yet vulnerable...With a tough outer shell, and mush inside. MUSH meaning sensitive, caring, nurturing.....but also hidden with the tough outer shell. My Sissy. She's gone through experiences that I would never have imagined, and she has come out of them more beautiful than ever. My Sissy. My other half of my brain.....I love you!!

Thank goodness for cool, comfy adobe homes. Inner adventures/travel in Barrio Veijo. Thank goodness for friends and soft kitties. And random, waiting bathtubs in the middle of the desert under a full moon and starry sky. Thank goodness for...grace.

I remember when I was just getting to know Shankari, I told her that I loved the musical sound of her voice. She said, "Oh well you just haven't heard me when I'm angry."
And I still haven't. As far as I can tell, Cari is the sweetest, most loving Angel on the planet. Beautiful, graceful, and as much like a hummingbird as a human being can possibly get. I love her beyond the telling of it. November 15, 2006
