1. When I was younger, I used to be a competitive swimmer and was kinda rather good. Being admitted to the Australian Institute of Sport, and swimming in the Olympics was my dream. However, I injured my neck and shoulder really badly (my muscles overheated and kinda melted or somn, then went into spasm causing the vertebrae to fall out of shape and then get stuck there by the spasming muscles)...

The kids' costumes, the glowing lanterns that they carry (do some really have candles in them?), the pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns everywhere, the decorations on lots of the houses! I haven't written for aeons ... like the nautilus, I close as many parts of myself off as I can when I'm down. It's safer that way ... in my shell, noone can see me.
