Born and grown Nor Cal girl.... 5 generations. Tried the So Cal and ended up with most of my friends being No Cal. We stick together. No pretentiousness here. You get what you see and I'll tell you so in a kind way. I have a sister who I'd say is my best friend although 5 years apart; I think she's the older one. Old soul.. ya know what I mean. I've been around the block. I love the old adage hind site is 20/20. Well, if I had to do it all over again I would. It's been good and only getting better. Let's start from the beginnning ... I was born a wee child in Auburn California and then moved up to Applegate. Do you know Applegate? It the place where cars get stopped if you're trying to get to Tahoe. They say the road is closed and still the dumb ass people will try to come, they get stopped and then they get out of their cars and play for days. Go home... it'll take you 7 hours and then you get to Tahoe and oh, your mind is gone, you've left it in the mouse maze in the Bay. Oh OH!! Drive sanely that is left for the insane or whatever you want to call it. Onward towards youth. Went to Grammar school at Placer Hills and progressed to Weimer ( German folks ) use the right pronunciation. My folks decided Colfax was the place to settle down and there we did. Graduated, went to work and decided I need to get the HELL outta here and grow. Didn't marry until I was 32. Thought I was all grown up. OOOOHHHH hold on... did I say San Diego. Moved to SD where I met wonderful friends, life was good and hey, there was a beach. It was just like heaven. guess what though after college and a little growing came back where life was good and understood a lot better. I have this wonderful lake view, a beautiful home, a great job with awesome employees and best of all a life partner to share it all. I relocated him from SD. Life doesn't get better than this. So every day on my way to work I say, " How lucky am I to live in one of the most majestic places in the world." Sometimes it's not all the things you have or done, it's the people and the simplistic life one has. I love it!!!
