My Testimonials

February 3, 2008
As you watch Mezdulene dance she fully radiates her love and excitement for BellyDance. She has a truly beautiful energy she fills from within and shares this with her audience and all around. It really is quite the treat to watch Mezdulene dance with live music. Mezdulene truly has a connection with live music. Somehow her body on many different levels fully understands the sound waves that are emenating from the instruments and she shows us this. I believe Mezdulene's body and spirit truly respect the healing and meditative qualities of BellyDance and the music we love. Mezdulene is a truly beautiful women. She is kind, supportive and warm hearted. She is the type of person who always has time to talk, offer love and support. She is open to all. We need more people to take after Mezdulene's lead.

Mezdulene's dancing is grace and beauty. Watching her dance reminds oneself how beautiful it is to be a woman, lovely, gentle yet strong. In person, she portrays these same qualites. Best of all, she's just a really darn good person to talk to!

My Blog

It seems that I finally have my Lupus back in remission. I feel better then I've felt since last October! I'm happy and I give thanks every day to Spirit for my renewed health. And, I want to thank all of my friends for the good wishes, good energy and healing thoughts they have sent me. It has really helped so much during a time of real darkness.

Rakkasah Notes

My asstant/student/friend, Naomi and I went to Rakkasah with a side trip to S.F. We had a great time; she’s a good travel mate. This year, Rakkasah was at a fairgrounds, and all fairgrounds look pretty much the same whether they be in Vallejo, California or Madras, Oregon. The buildings are big, and you might be the next event after a horse or cow show. Yup, that was the building we were in helping Lucy from Scheherazade Imports vend. We had a pretty good view ... read more

When my extra copies of my newest issue of Jareeda came, I almost cried. It’s all glossy paper, more color and a gorgeous new cover style. It was everything I hoped for, and a long time in coming. I am so jazzed.

The first to see this new and improved issue were the dancers in Boise, Idaho. Sidonia and Samira acted as excited as I felt! While in Boise, I taught two workshops and had a wonderful time. My first workshop was single and double veil and cape. It was a room full of swirlin... read more

Well it was hard to cancel my festival, hard to admit my weakness to the world. But, I was flooded with emails offering healing and support. I know I will get this back into remission and that everything has a purpose. I don't always know what it is at the time, but when I look back, it always falls into place.

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful support and thank everyone for their kindness and understanding. Not one negative response to the cancelation, just concern and well wis... read more

Well, November and December sucked. October would have sucked too if I hadn't had the most gorgeous little Scorpio grandson enter the world. Here we are in January. I had high hopes, but so far it pretty much sucks too.

I'm sure you're thinking that Mezdulene sure sounds negative, but I'm not really. It's just the facts, folks. I'm ready for a break from the stress.

We've had restaurant hell. Remember the Salem witch trials? Female hysteria? I've seen it with my own eyes! We h... read more
