Nublu ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "great music, great vibe" seriously, the music is pretty much always good, and the crowd is always eclectic. Weekends it's usually too loud to converse with more than 2, but weeknights it's pretty chill.

Max Fish ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "don't get the fuss" seriously, everyone's heard of Max Fish, but I still don't know why. The only thing that stands out is the bright lighting and I'm not particularly fond of that. Makes it feel like you're chilling in your gf's uncle's kitchen ...

d.b.a. ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "chill spot" good and dependable. Chill interior, great selection of beers, back garden is nice in warm weather.

ACE Bar ( local favorites » bars / clubs / cafes ) "dependable for bigger gatherings" not sexy in any way, just a good dependable bar. 2 pool tables and the darts in the back make it a favored one for a buddy night.
