about me
I am a Middle Eastern dancer transplanted to Placerville via Hollywood, Ca. and have been here now for 2 1/2 years. Lov'n it!!! I live on a small ranch with my son, hubby, four cats, three horses, and three goats. I am the troupe founder/director for the fabulous group of women dancers known as "Jewels of the North." I am also the founder of The Casbah Lounge, Evening of Middle Eastern Dance, which is the premiere Middle Eastern Dance event in the Gold Country area. I teach bellydance, horseback riding lessons, and am a law professor. Life is good.
Vahana Bellydance at Stage Right Studio, 466 Canal Street, Placerville, schedule: Tuesdays, 7 - 8 p.m., Troupe Rehearsal Thursdays, 6:30 p.m. Beginning Bellydance Technique 7:00 p.m. Intermediate Bellydance Combos and Choreography Drop in rate $15 or a 4 class card for $40 Fridays, 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. Fit for Life, Missouri Flat, Placerville 10 classes for $60, you do not have to be a member.

Very informal. No commercial vendors. Just you, your unwanted stuff, and a space to display it. Sunday, April 27th, in Placerville, before the Brothers of the Baladi show. 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Space is my dance studio, so the floor is nice. Parking is street only.
