On Tuesday I went to the Michael Franti concert at the MN Zoo. Off to the side of the crowd was a girl hoop dancing to the music, she caught my eye (as well as everyone else). A powerful rhythm, harmony and soul radiated out of her and I was instantly hooked. I decided that I needed to learn to hoop and I just ordered one. So if you're out there MN Zoo hoop girl, thank you for spreading the hoop love! I can't wait to start.
