So I'm back from an amazing journey through Costa Rica with some super cool kids both old and new. Somehow Stephen Colbert was invited to speak at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner. Live on C-Span and next to the president himself, Colbert bashed Bush, his administration and the press for 25 minutes. Take the time to watch the clip. long slow days

I'm surrounded by ice cold air and 8 inches of snow which is constantly validating why I live where its 75 degrees and sunny 360 days a year. It is, however, nice to have this tangent thrown into such a crazy life I live in LA. Everything here is slow and quiet and I finally have a chance to give my body the rest and healing time that its been screaming for a long time. I guess by ignoring all of the signs that my body has been giving me for a while is why I'm here now. I feel like an 80 year old man who has to use the handrail to walk down stairs and has to use both hands and legs to get out of a chair. I've been reduced to something I thought I would never see or at least not for another 50 years. I am feeling a lot better and am getting some of my strength and energy back. I can feel the Pneumonia leaving my body every day and my body is feeling more and more alive as a result. I'm still in no shape to go out and make a killer snow man, but I'm hoping by Christmas I'll be as good as ever.
