about me
free-spirited, lovely, self-conscious, danceable, grieving for a society that thinks it can do anything it wants, is justified in all ends for all means, and hasn't a clue how to confront the consequences of its own actions. Society is us, people.
But let's dance. Bang your head.
And Now for Something Completely Different....

Sarah Palin's got more than a few problems. She's fast and loose with the facts, she has extreme views on abortion and she's untried and uninformed for the Executive Branch of the United States Government.
So attack her on the issues. Going aft...

Idiots. Us. Idiots. The problem is us. We bask in the relative peace we may enjoy in the months between each inevitable public mass-murder, then we point and shrug and shake our heads in sorrow, thanking God it hasn't happened here yet. But why ...

Here we go again. The nation whips itself into an uproar over our offended sensibilities, oblivious to the fact that a few puppet-masters are over on the sidelines, pulling the strings. And what's the main motivation here? Fear. In the case of CBS...

So attack her on the issues. Going after her because she winks and says words like "gol'darn" with no apparent irony is just poor sportsmanship - and petty. Somebody posted a comment to a recent blog entry that Palin is stupid. She's not that. Not by a long shot. The fact that someone di...

That’s a neat trick.) The very phrase segregates, discriminates, is prejudicial. Tucker criticiz...

We bask in the relative peace we may enjoy in the months between each inevitable public mass-murder, then we point and shrug and shake our heads in sorrow, thanking God it hasn't happened here yet. But why can't it? Personal accountability is a myth, our society has been commandeered by the lawyers and the cowered politicians who seek to control every thought, every gesture, every nuance of our lives. If we complain about the idiocy surrounding us we c...

Here we go again. The nation whips itself into an uproar over our offended sensibilities, oblivious to the fact that a few puppet-masters are over on the sidelines, pulling the strings. And what's the main motivation here? Fear. In the case of CBS, fear of being sued and losing advertising revenue. In the case of Inquirer editorialists and watercooler conversationalists, fear of being labeled a racist. But what really happened here? Imus, Stern and their like-minded brethren have long careers...
